NBA free agency doesn’t officially open u$1ntil Friday but the New York Knicks may have already made a big splash with the reunion between two teammates
According an report from Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post, sources have told him that it is almost certain that former Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah will sign with the New York Knicks to reunite with his former teammates Derrick Rose. The deal will reportedly start in the $18 million range.
Noah, a New York City native, missed the bulk of the 2015-16 campaign because of an season ending shoulder injury. His presence was really missed on the Bulls. The President of the Knicks Phill Jackson still belives that the 31-year-old center still have the ability to contribute to team and help them make the playoffs.
The former Florida Gator, reportedly has an meeting set up shortly after midnight as free agency begins Friday at 12:00 a.m. ET.
